This is how I styled my white Vincent Navajo Embroidered Jeans for a busy Friday out running errands.
How amazing is this coat?! Perfect for Spring and just to keep the Spring theme going, I've paired it with this yellow dress from Sessun.
There's not much explanation needed for today's look. It's your basic corporate attire with a few perks, like those fab shoes, thrown in to spice things up. I also love the über feminine silhouette of the blazer.
Every woman should have a gray cashmere (or other excellent quality) sweater in her closet. It is such a versatile item that can be dressed up, down or in between. :-)
The perfect dress for an easy going Sunday with your favorite guy.
Some days, maybe even most days, a girl needs flats to run around in. I love these woven ballerinas.
Cool city girl on the go! Double breasted navy blazer, breton striped top, blue jeans and killer heels. Unstoppable!
Florals don't have to be "Mumsy" or reserved for brunch with the in-laws. You can give a floral skirt some edge, by pairing it with a plain white t-shirt and a spiked necklace.
I decided on a more conservative style for today’s Office Monday look. This look can easily be achieved with a navy blue suit if you prefer an even more corporate style. The satin top adds a bit of femininity, while the ankle boots with their hard metal stiletto heels give the look a bit of edge.
Navy blue V-neck sweater - Closed, Cream satin blouse - Michael Kors, Cocoon coat - Zero + Maria Cornejo,
Denim shorts have been in fashion for a few summers now. However, to be honest being over 30, I wasn't sure if I could still get away with it. And even if I could, I wasn't sure that I wanted to. What I was sure of though, was that if I was going to try it, the shorts would definitely have to be a respectable length i.e. have a bit pant leg left on them. And that is my first tip for rocking denim shorts over 30. The pocket showing, bum baring look is fine (I guess...) when you're in your teens and 20's, but after that you're in the danger zone.
Tip number two? Go for a baggier fit. Tight clothes of any nature are not flattering. But tight cut off jeans? Girl, you're already on the bus to skank-ville. And speaking of skank-ville... Please please, please (tip no. 3) keep distressing and other "embellishments" (studs, leopard appliqué, embroidery etc.) to a minimum.
So, now that we have some ground rules set out, let's talk about styling. I think that pairing denim shorts with a floral print satin kimono is the most grown up and feminine way to balance them out. The color doesn't really matter, but the satin is important. It gives the look richness and sensuality. Plus it will tie in with the pastel and floral trends for this spring and summer. Finish the look with cute straw bag and a pretty pair of flat sandals.

The 3 rings I picked up this past week all remind me of YSL's blogger faves the Arty rings. The black one is obviously a blatant knock-off. It's from Primark and at €3 well... I couldn't just leave it behind, could I?
My faves though are the gray and amber colored ones from H&M. They remind me of the YSL Arty rings more because of the colors and slightly veined luminescent quailty of the stones rather than the shape. I've found though, that as far as large rings go, this shape (where the stone is integrated into form of the ring and gradually broadens towards the middle, rather than just plonked on top of the band) is most flattering to me. I really wish H&M made them in more colors. I would love an emerald green or a deep lapis lazuli blue version or both. :)

Tangerine has been tipped as one of this spring's trend colors. I was playing around with how to style this beautiful vintage tangerine pencil skirt for the office and came up with 2 looks. They are very similar and feature much of the same items, but I couldn't choose between them, so I thought why not show you both.
So first up is a pairing with gray. I think these two colors work so well together.

Gray sheer blouse - Aritzia, Gray wool jacket - Stella McCartney, Tangerine pencil skirt - Farfetch,
For the second look the skirt is paired with an off white satin top and camel blazer. The result is a softer and perhaps more spring appropriate look.

Listen very carefully, I will only say this once...
How much sexier do these jeans (which, by the way, have gone straight from the the runway to my wishlist) look on Isabel Marant herself, than on her itty-bitty skinny model? Curves people, curves... even the littlest bit helps. #justsayin'
Other favorites from the show:
These sweaters.
This jacket.
This dress...
which also comes in a sweater version.
A lot of the rest verges on costume for me and the shoes don't have me drooling either. But I'll reserve my judgement until I see them up close.

Today's look is styled around this gray Bambi sweater. I love adding a little playfulness to outfits and creating a bit of contrast.
